Cheapest real estate websites for agents: the price list
The cheapest paid website on this list is Placester Agent Essential: $59 a month on monthly billing, or $566 billed annually, as read on October 29, 2026. IDX (Internet Data Exchange), the feed that shows MLS (multiple listing service) listings, adds fees on most routes. BoldTrail calls a brokerage-provided site technically free to the agent. AgentFire is $800 one-time setup for Ignite plus Pro at $165 a month.

IDX Broker Core and Showcase IDX add IDX to a site you already run, so the site itself is an extra cost. Try AgentFire →Monthly or annual billing and what it changes
Placester says annual billing carries a 20% discount. Computation, not a vendor price: Agent Essential is 36 x $59 = $2,124 over three years on monthly billing, or 3 x $566 = $1,698 on annual billing. Showcase IDX Essentials is 36 x $94.95 = $3,418.20 monthly, or 3 x $849.50 = $2,548.50 yearly. Real Geeks prices by term: $599 a month on 6 months, $399 on 12 months and about $333 on the annual term. AgentFire bills monthly only.
IDX and MLS fees that change the order
An MLS pass-through fee is a charge some MLSs make to vendors for data access, passed on to you. Placester charges $25 a month per approved IDX connection. AgentFire includes IDX with MLS pass-through fees extra, and its board pages print $7.00, $10.00 or $33.19 a month for three boards. Showcase IDX says its pass-through typically ranges from $0 to $33 a month; at the top, 36 x $33 = $1,188 over three years. Three-year computations, not vendor prices:
- Placester Agent Essential with one IDX: 36 x $59 + 36 x $25 = $3,024 on monthly billing, or 3 x $566 + 36 x $25 = $2,598 on annual billing.
- AgentFire Ignite with Pro: $800 + 36 x $165 = $6,740, before MLS fees and add-ons.
- Real Geeks annual term with one IDX feed: $500 + 3 x $3,990 + 3 x $120 = $12,830.
Low-cost IDX add-ons need a site of your own
IDX Broker Core is $60 a month with no annual contract; Engage is $99 and Elite is $149. Core over three years is 36 x $60 = $2,160, before its one-time setup fee, which IDX Broker gives only on request, and any MLS data fee. Only Elite includes a hosted, designed website. Showcase IDX is a WordPress plugin with no setup fee and a 10-day trial that needs no credit card.
When the cheapest option costs more later
AgentFire's undated help-desk rate list adds a custom interior page from $350, a domain name change at $100 and an IDX switch at $100 to $150. Reactivation after six months starts at $125 an hour, and the On Ice storage subscription is $30 a month. AgentFire may raise prices on 30 days' written notice. Real Geeks charges a $50 domain transfer fee if it bought your domain.
An agent leaving a free brokerage-provided site should total these layers first and ask the brokerage whether its site moves with them.
