Is AgentFire legit: its terms, refund rules and site ownership

Last reviewed October 29, 2026

Quick answerAgentFire publishes its prices, a full fee list and a hosting agreement. That agreement refunds the setup fee in full only within 48 hours and keeps the design with AgentFire; Placester lets you try first.

Is AgentFire legit: what its own pages commit to

AgentFire publishes its prices, a full fee list and a hosting agreement, so the terms you would sign are public before you pay. The pricing page lists one-time setup fees of $800 (Ignite), $2,750 (Custom) and $6,500 (Firebrand), which the Terms make due at sign-up, and monthly plans at $165 (Pro) or $215 (Plus), as read on October 29, 2026.

The Terms name the contracting party as Dark Galaxy Limited DBA AgentFire.com and are marked updated July 2026. This is not legal advice.

AgentFire refund rules and the Development Milestone

A written request within 48 hours of purchase returns the setup fee in full. After that and before the Development Milestone, AgentFire keeps 10% of the setup fee. Once the milestone has occurred, the setup fee is non-refundable. The milestone is your submission of completed onboarding materials for Ignite and the completion of the design consultation for Custom and Firebrand.

AgentFire lists no trial, so the 48-hour request is the only route the Terms give to a full refund. A buyer who wants to use a product first fits Placester, whose pricing page lists a 14-day free trial, or an IDX (Internet Data Exchange) plugin such as Showcase IDX, which lists a 10-day trial.

Who owns the site, the content and the DNS

In the pricing FAQ's words, the complete AgentFire website cannot be exported and hosted elsewhere, though your original content, photos and videos remain yours. The Terms host the site only on AgentFire's servers and run your DNS (the settings that point your domain) through AgentFire's Cloudflare account.

Canceling deactivates the site and stops billing. AgentFire typically waives the reactivation fee within six months. After that it starts at $125 an hour and can reach $500. The On Ice storage subscription costs $30 a month, and the site still goes down.

Chargebacks, late invoices and price increases

A chargeback or payment dispute raised without first trying to resolve it with AgentFire may lead to immediate suspension of services. Unpaid invoices carry a finance charge of 2% per month or the legal maximum.

The Terms let AgentFire raise prices on 30 days' written notice. Ignite with Pro is $800 plus 36 x $165, or $6,740, a computation rather than a vendor price, before MLS (multiple listing service) pass-through fees (charges some MLSs make for data access), taxes, add-ons and change fees. The pricing FAQ says "No! We don't do long-term contracts," beside the setup fee, the non-refundable monthly fees and the reactivation terms above.

Questions to ask AgentFire before you pay

  • Is my MLS on the coverage list? Three board pages print a monthly pass-through fee: $7.00 (California Regional Multiple Listing Service), $10.00 (Canopy MLS) and $33.19 (Northwest MLS). A board page with no fee is silent, not free.
  • When does the first monthly charge fall? AgentFire's checkout says about 4 to 8 weeks after purchase; its Terms say when development begins.
  • Does the checkout's MLS refund line apply? AgentFire's checkout says it refunds in full if your MLS turns out not to be covered and you do not go ahead. Ask for that in writing.

Pick AgentFire for a built, hosted site if you accept refunds in stages. AgentFire review covers its limits, what is AgentFire explains the product and AgentFire pricing lists every fee.
