Core, Engage and Elite against Pro and Plus

IDX Broker's plans cost $60 (Core), $99 (Engage) and $149 (Elite) a month, with no annual contracts or long-term commitments. AgentFire's plans cost $165 (Pro) and $215 (Plus) a month, billed monthly only, after a design package. Plus adds three assisted support hours, monthly blog articles and AI drip campaigns to Pro.

Over 36 months, as computations and not vendor prices, IDX Broker Core is 36 x $60 = $2,160, Engage is 36 x $99 = $3,564 and Elite is 36 x $149 = $5,364, each plus a setup fee with no printed amount. On AgentFire, Ignite with Pro is $6,740 ($800 + 36 x $165). The totals are not like for like until IDX Broker states its setup fee.

Setup fees: published or on request

AgentFire prints a one-time setup fee for each design package: $800 for Ignite, $2,750 for Custom and $6,500 for Firebrand. IDX Broker says all of its plans include a one-time setup fee in addition to the monthly subscription and tells buyers to contact it for the current amount.

AgentFire's Terms make its setup fee due at sign-up, refundable in full only on a written request within 48 hours of purchase. Ask IDX Broker for its setup fee in writing before you pick a plan.

MLS data fees on both

IDX Broker says some MLS (multiple listing service) boards charge additional data management fees set by your local board, not by IDX Broker. AgentFire's Terms put MLS pass-through fees (charges some MLSs make to vendors for data access) on the client. Its board pages print $7.00 a month for California Regional Multiple Listing Service, $10.00 for Canopy MLS and $33.19 for Northwest MLS. A board page with no fee is silent on the point.

AgentFire's pricing page tells buyers to confirm their MLS is covered before moving forward. Your MLS's own rules govern what you pay and how you display listings. This is not legal advice.

Who should pick IDX Broker and who AgentFire

Pick IDX Broker if you already have a site and want month-to-month IDX from $60 a month, with a setup fee quoted on request. Pick Elite if you want IDX Broker to host a designed site too. Pick AgentFire if you want the setup fee in writing up front and one plan for design, hosting and support.

A newly licensed agent on a tight budget with no site would weigh Elite's $149 a month plus its setup fee against AgentFire's $800 setup plus $165 a month.
